Sports Helper Volunteer (Goshawks Gymnastics and Trampolining Club)
Goshawks Gymnastics Club are looking for volunteer sport helpers. This will mean working with and supporting sport coaches and supervisors also working at the club and ensuring all sports activities are safe and enjoyable!
The Club is a thriving, friendly club and welcomes applications from anyone who has an interest in helping at the club in any capacity, be it behind the scenes or actively in the club.
The club also needs help with paperwork and meeting and greeting parents.
Sessions are held every night of the week, and on Saturdays, at various venues in Gosport.
If helping in the gym and being involved with the gymnasts then a DBS check would be needed.
(This can be helped with.) No experience necessary as training is available.
About Goshawks Gymnastics (and Trampolining) Club
The club caters for anyone from the age of 1 year to adults who wish to train in gymnastics and trampolining for just keeping fit or to gain awards and to compete locally and nationally.
The club also supports, encourages and mentors those who wish to coach in a variety of gymnastics disciplines.
What are they looking for?
Ability to relate to children of all ages, from pre-school to late teens.
Keen interest in sport and desire to work in a gymnastics environment.
Volunteer must be physically able.
A DBS Check will be required for this role.
There are 3 Training venues - Bridgemary School, Brune Park School and St.Vincent College.
Week day eveningsor Saturday am or pm.

Great way to develop coaching experience and spread your enjoyment of running to friendly beginners. As well as the aforementioned experience provided, working as a GASA volunteer is a great addition to the CV and provides a route towards a Level One qualification if you intend to go into coaching.
