Portsmouth Race For Life Volunteer (Sunday 9th July)
The Race for Life 5k and 10k events are women-only races designed to build bonds and beat cancer.
This year's events will take place on Southsea Common on Sunday 9 July. The 5k race is designed to suit all abilities - encouraging women of all shapes, ages and sizes to get out and run, jog or walk the route. The 10k is a step up and for those who want to give themselves more of a challenge. However, participants can still approach the race however they wish, whether that's walking, jogging or running. All funds raised from the events will go to Cancer Research UK to help with its groundbreaking research.
There are a variety of volunteering roles available, including Course Marshal Volunteer, Event Day Volunteer and Enquiries and Administration Volunteer.
If you are interested in volunteering, please join this opportunity, then more information will be sent to you about the role.

Great way to develop coaching experience and spread your enjoyment of running to friendly beginners. As well as the aforementioned experience provided, working as a GASA volunteer is a great addition to the CV and provides a route towards a Level One qualification if you intend to go into coaching.
